This is Randy. He is Data Buaya's (Chief Crocodile) son. He has lukemia. He has not received any treatment. Although he is in a great deal of pain and is very sick, you won't hear him complain. The day Jeremy left the tribe, he joined him and several other men on the 47 mile hike. He never once complained as he walked through the jungle with no shoes. Rather, he sang songs of praises!
Randy suffers with lukemia.

Last night I was in a store and heard a young child screaming and crying because his mother wouldn't buy him candy. I thought of little Randy out in the jungle, sick and hungry. I thought of how much this child is enduring. Every day is a struggle to survive and on top of it he deals with a life threatening disease. Then I looked at the comparison between the two children and my heart broke. I want to do all that I can to help Randy and his people. This ministry, myself and my family are committed to going beyond our comfort zone to do more. PLEASE, will you make a committment to do more than you have ever done to help others in need? Your contribution WILL change lives. You will change Randy's life!

Eternally grateful for your generosity,

On April 23rd Jeremy Wiles returned from a 3 week long stay in the Philippines. His mission was to live with and film the Matigsalugs, an indigenous primitive tribe and discover if they have a tradition about a global flood, similar to the Biblical account of the great deluge. The trip was part of his feature documenary about Noah's Ark.

Because of the courageous efforts of a few missionaries, the tribe has heard the gospel and have committed their hearts to serving the one true living God. Instead of singing war songs preparing for battle, they now sing songs of praise to the Lord.

The children shout a song of praise to the Lord numerous times during the day. The song is called "Mopia." The children are singing, "God is good. God is good. Our Lord is all we need!"

Jeremy Wiles, a documentary filmmaker, with the children of the Matigsalug Tribe in the Philippines. The Matigsalugs are a primitive tribe native to the Philippines.

It is a 47 mile hike through the jungle to reach the tribe.
The closest civilization is Davao which is approx. a 3 hour drive. There are no medical camps, clinics or even a
doctor near by. Most of the children are sick and require
iimmediate care. The tribe despertely needs a medical camp to attend to basic medical needs. Stocking the tribe with medical supplies would be an overwhelming blessing for these people!

Watch this short video and learn why they are in dire need of medical care.

Mother holding her baby. Because of malnutrition, mothers aren't producing enough milk to feed their babies. We need to get formula and nutrition to these mothers fast!

There is a woman named Betchie. She is a native Philippino, who formerly lived lived in California. Betchie has given up everything and her comfortable surroundings to live with the Matigsalug tribe. Her heart is for these precious people. She desires to teach them more about the Lord and to give her life to helping them. It is the goal of Bless An Orphan to assist Betchie and the children and families of this remote tribe. Their need is incredible. YOU have an opportunity to do something extraordinary - YOU can bless the lives of so many children!

The tribe is much like a big family and the men and women reach out and take care of the orphans. However, there isn't enough food. If the tribal men had something as simple as 5 water buffalo they would be able to harvest more food to help care for their own orphans. The only food these people have is what they are able to grow - rice, sweet potatos and corn! Can you imagine eating a tea cup size portion of rice every day? Can you picture their faces when barrels and 50lb bags of dehydrated food is brought to them? Little empty bellies that have never felt the sensation of actually being full finally feeling what it's like to not be hungry! I know you must get as excited as we do to think what we can do to bless their lives!

You are reading this because you care. You share a heart of compassion for the poor and needy, otherwise you wouldn't take the time to read. Please, do just a little more than read this. Give your very best gift today to help us provide food, shelter, clothing, and urgent medical care to the precious children. It's an amazing feeling to sacraficially give to someone who's needs are greater than your own. Surely, God will bless you, just as He promised He would.
