Baby Angel Rescued
June 12, 2008 |
|
Here's a great story that I really want to share with you. This little girl was found by a a little boy in the trash. He stumbled on a box in a mound of trash on his way to school. When he opened the box he found this tiny little baby covered in blood. She had just been born! He took the baby to his mother. She cleaned the little girl up and took her to the police and asked to keep the baby and try to give it a good life. This mother of 3 boys, already living in abject poverty, wanted to rescue this little life that someone had thrown away. The mother learned about Bless An Orphan and brought Angel to us. She and her three brothers receive assistance through the Huruma outreach. What a miracle story for this little girl...and now because of you she will grow to know the love of Jesus Christ and be given the chance to have a successful future! |

A new life for Beatrice
June 2008

Beatrice is fighting for her survival. She is a victim of AIDS, both her parents have died, now she fights for her own life. Beatrice recently became a new family member of the Bless An Orphan sponsored orphanage in Nairobi, Kenya. Now she will receive the support and medical help she needs to thrive. We expect a great future for this little girl. Please remember her in your prayers. There are so many young girls like you see pictured here. They are victims of AIDS. Their lives are filled with pain and despair. We can rescue more of these children with your help and give them a chance to fulfill their dreams! These beautiful girls can know the love of Christ and be healed! |

| We purchased our first 9 acres in Mwingi and have begun construction. This will be one of many "compounds" that will have a church, orphanage, school, medical clinic, food distribution center as well as co-op crops, livestock, and a fish hatchery. Our goal is to establish these Bless An Orphan campus' across Kenya. These campus' will rescue many lives and provide the health & education resources the children need. We had another 6 acres donated in another region of Kenya! |

Our ultimate goal is to build a large orphanage outside of Nairobi, however until we are able to raise the funding needed for such a large scale project, we needed to find an immediate solution to care for 200+ children! We constructed a temporary dormitory for the children located in Huruma. This new dorm will be able gives the children more room and a dry place to sleep. The temporary orphanage will then be used as a crisis pregancy center to reach the young mothers living in the slums of Huruma.
The number of orphans continues to grow - we are running out of room. We despirately need to build a modern facility that will accomodate hundreds of children. Please pray for this project! |
